“My Spring Festival” event was held successfully

Spring festival is the most important traditional festival and represents unity, prosperousness and best wishes for the next year.

27 January 2018, Chongqing Investment Promotion Association and Chongqing Leliving Life Industrial Co. Ltd organized “ My Spring Festival” event with help of Chongqing Commerce Commission and Chongqing Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs. This event was held successfully and attracted many international friends. 

This event started with traditional banquet which pleased all the friends. After the banquet, it was the tug of war. someone said " Chinese Spring festival is like carnival." 6-year-old American boy Ehsan and his sister Jean participated in the tug of war and cheered up for their father, William. Their mother, Farhana told us " Spring festival is intersting because it brings us unity of family and happiness. "

Making sticky rice is a favorite to kids. Kara said " the sticky and tasty rice made me feel good especially I made it!" After that, we did archery and the first prize went to 朴耕本.

David from France came to China 10 years ago for study and have fallen in love with this country. When we were making tangyuan and writing couplet, Natthaporn from Thailand felt at home to have a Spring Festival with us. Eva from Taiwan was writing couplet and has a good handwriting. She hopes that more people from mainland China and Taiwan can make business together and help each other.

With the developement of China, Spring Festival is increasingly famous in the world. To welcome the year of dog, we invited international friends to celebrate with us through this event. We hope our friends enjoy the spring festival and have a good life in Chongqing.
