National Exhibition of Fine Arts Oil Painting Exhibition and Sculpture Exhibition extended

The 13th National Exhibition of Fine Arts Oil Painting Exhibition (nominated works and works to be displayed in Beijing) and Sculpture Exhibition held in Chongqing have been postponed to October 30, 2019.

The above two exhibitions were respectively exhibited in the Art Museum of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute and Chongqing Museum of Contemporary Art, and were originally scheduled to be closed on October 22 and 25. In order to give more visitors a chance to enjoy the five-yearly Art Festival, the exhibition has been extended.

According to Art Museum of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, many visitors came to Chongqing for the exhibitions from other cities. "A lot of works in this Oil Painting Exhibition are admirable," said Bao Faming, an artist from Suzhou, Jiangsu Province who came to the Art Museum of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute at 9 a.m. Yang Quanfa, a 64 year old artist from Qionghai, Hainan Province, came to Chongqing for a special visit to the oil painting exhibition with his wife. They stopped their steps to appreciate these wonderful works.
