CQ City Hall Online Goes Live


The smart city drive sees government services for individuals and business go completely virtual. 

 

Chongqing city hall has launched its totally online service platform. The service integrates services from city-wide government services all the way down to those handled at a village level.

 

The new service has standardized procedures for business and personal services whether they are a the municipal level or level of a multinational corporation, to whether they are at a village level or sole trader.

 

Users register to use the platform in person, and then enjoy full access to remote government services via computer or mobile.

 

The service also has a rigorous feedback system which is being used to evaluate and improve efficiency.

 

This is just one part of a large scale project to overhaul every aspect of service delivery in Chongqing and develop an business-friendly twenty-first century smart city.
