Chongqing Releases Outline of the Fifteenth Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development

Chongqing has officially released the Outline of the Fifteenth Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development. The Outline comprises 16 sections, 60 chapters and 182 entries, structured into three parts.

In terms of development goals, Chongqing has set a target of “ensuring decisive progress towards basically achieving socialist modernisation by 2030”, described as both aspirational and attainable. Across five dimensions — economic development, innovation-driven growth, people’s wellbeing, green and low-carbon transition, and security — the Outline sets out 24 key indicators, forming its core indicator system.
