Chongqing Selected as a National Demonstration Zone for Innovative Development of Trade in Services

On 22 April 2026, the Ministry of Commerce, together with relevant government departments, officially issued the Overall Plan for the Development of National Demonstration Zones for Innovative Trade in Services. The initiative launched pilot demonstration-zone programmes in 16 cities—Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Chongqing, Dalian, Xiamen, Qingdao, Shenzhen, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Hefei, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Xi'an and Suzhou—as well as Hainan Province.
