A total of 87 projects were recognised, including five Gold Awards, 10 Silver Awards, 30 Bronze Awards and 52 Honourable Mentions. Among them, the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce's  project, Building an Inland Demonstration Zone for Liberalised and Facilitated Institutional Opening-Up: China (Chongqing) Pilot Free Trade Zone, was selected for recognition.

This award is closely linked to an international convention of global significance and highlights the China (Chongqing) Pilot Free Trade Zone's sustained efforts in advancing institutional opening-up and aligning with international standards.

At the end of 2025, the United Nations General Assembly formally adopted the United Nations Convention on Negotiable Cargo Documents (NCD Convention), also known as the Accra Convention. Developed from practical experience in China, the Convention is expected to have a far-reaching impact on global trade, with Chongqing playing an important role in contributing to this Chinese solution.
