Invest in Chongqing: Where Opportunity Meets You

"Invest in Chongqing: Where Opportunity Meets You" is the flagship investment promotion brand organised by the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce. In April 2026, two events under the brand's Eastern China Roadshow Series for Districts and Counties were held in succession in Beijing and Tianjin: the Chongqing–Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Industry Matchmaking Conference and the Tianjin Foreign-Invested Enterprise Roundtable.

Chongqing–Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Industry Matchmaking Conference

From 15 to 16 April 2026, the Chongqing Municipal Commerce Commission hosted the Chongqing–Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Industry Matchmaking Conference in Beijing as part of the "Invest in Chongqing — Where Opportunity Meets You" Eastern China Roadshow Series. Delegations from 17 districts, counties and open platforms across Chongqing presented 68 priority cooperation projects covering advanced manufacturing, modern services, biomedicine and related sectors.

The conference focused on multinational corporate headquarters, foreign chambers of commerce, representative offices and high-end industrial resources in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. It aimed to attract technology-intensive, headquarters-based and R&D-driven projects, accelerate technology commercialisation and capital investment, strengthen industrial-chain connectivity, and enhance the effectiveness and influence of the "Invest in Chongqing" brand.

Tianjin Foreign-Invested Enterprise Roundtable

From 16 to 17 April 2026, the Tianjin Foreign-Invested Enterprise Roundtable was held at SEW-EURODRIVE (China) Investment Co., Ltd. as part of the "Invest in Chongqing — Where Opportunity Meets You" Eastern China Roadshow Series. Representatives from Chongqing's districts, counties and open platforms presented priority cooperation projects focused on advanced manufacturing and conducted business matchmaking sessions with participating enterprises.

Yongchuan District, Rongchang District and Wansheng Economic Development Zone delivered dedicated presentations highlighting opportunities in advanced manufacturing, intelligent equipment manufacturing and related industrial supply chains. Chongqing delegates also held face-to-face discussions with representatives from multinational manufacturers including SEW-EURODRIVE, Cabot Corporation, Samsung Electro-Mechanics, Schneider Electric and Novo Nordisk.

During the visit, the Chongqing delegation also toured the Tianjin Dongjiang Comprehensive Bonded Zone and the Airbus Tianjin Final Assembly Line to gain insights into advanced manufacturing, bonded-zone operations and international industrial cooperation.
