Chongqing Fuling Comprehensive Bonded Zone officially began operations on December 27, 2019. In the first half of 2023, Fuling Comprehensive Bonded Zone had a total import and export value of 6.097 billion CNY, a huge contribution to the development of Fuling's export-oriented economy.
Development Orientation
Fuling Comprehensive Bonded Zone is set in a customs special supervision area with international reach and innovation. Its key sectors are processing and manufacturing, design and research and development, logistics distribution, testing and maintenance, and sales services, and it aims to further develop four key industries: life and health, equipment manufacturing, food and oil, and new generation information technology. It also will accelerate the improvement of the three major functions of bonded processing, logistics maintenance, and bonded services. Location Advantage
Fuling Comprehensive Bonded Zone is located at the junction of the "Belt and Road", the Yangtze River Economic Zone, and the New Western Land-sea Corridor, in the middle of Chongqing, the centre of the Three Gorges reservoir area, and at the intersection of the Yangtze River and the Wujiang River. It is the fourth comprehensive bonded zone in Chongqing, with excellent regional transportation infratsructure. It is about 80 km from Jiangbei International Airport, about 9 km from Chongqing-Lichuan Railway, and about 7 km from Chongqing-Fuling Expressway and Nanchuan-Fuling Expressway. It is adjacent to Lidu Operation Area of Fuling Port, Longtou Port Logistics Park, and the freight station on the Chongqing-Huaihua Railway.
Facilities Construction
According to the approval of the State Council, the planned area of Fuling Comprehensive Bonded Zone is 2.7 sqkm, which will be constructed in two phases. The first phase has a planned area of 1.82 sqkm, and the second phase has a planned area of 0.88 sqkm. The first phase consists of Zone A and Zone B, with an estimated total investment of 3.2 billion CNY. The planned supporting expansion area is 26.7 sqkm.
The first phase of Fuling Comprehensive Bonded Zone has seen the completion of 100,000 sqm of standardized factories, bonded warehouses, public supporting buildings, as well as 12 km of patrol roads, 10.5 km of fence, 4,500 square meters of inspection warehouses and management rooms, 20,000 square meters of comprehensive office buildings. At present, the rental rate and occupancy rate of standardized factory buildings have reached 100%.
