Chongqing's Global Trade: Chongqing Export Commodity Exhibition

November 2023, the "Chongqing Global Trade" Chongqing Export Commodity Exhibition was held at both the Jakarta International Convention and Exhibition Center in Indonesia and Colombia's capital, Bogota. The exhibitions aimed to promote Chongqing-made products in new global markets and stabilise foreign trade.

Chongqing Export Commodity (Indonesia)Exhibition

From November 2 to November 4, the “Chongqing Trade with World” Chongqing Export Commodity (Indonesia) Exhibition was held at the Jakarta International Convention and Exhibition Center in Indonesia.

The event attracted nearly 100 companies, 83 from Indonesia. The Chongqing participating companies work mainly in fields such as mechanical equipment, automotive steering, precision instruments, electronic products, circuit integration, and network technology.

Chongqing Municipal Commerce Commission, Chongqing Landai Transmission Machinery Co., Ltd., and Chongqing Longrun Automotive Steering Gear Co., Ltd. each made special presentations.

The event showcased Chongqing's key industrial products and aimed to enhance the brand awareness and influence of "Chongqing", and further enhance economic and trade cooperation between Chongqing and Indonesia. The event is expected to generate 18 million USD, and reach all kinds of intentional customers more than 20.

Chongqing Export Commodity (Colombia) Exhibition

The event aims to upgrade the bilateral relationship into a strategic partnership, which could further enhance mutual understanding and cooperation. The Chongqing Municipal Commerce Commission announced to local media that Chongqing had encouraged lots of companies to participate and compete globally and treat the event as a bridge to explore new foreign markets. Around 30 Chongqing companies participated, covering fields such as automobiles, motorcycles and components, general machinery, mechanical and electrical products. Seres Auto made its debut in Colombia with its main products, and Qingling Motors (Group) Co., Ltd. participated in the exhibition.
